Peace.

Dear reader,

Salaam (Peace)

May peace be upon you. May she reign in your heart like a queen and rest in your mind like a candle forever sheltered from the wind of the world. May tranquility radiate from you like a shining star and light up the hearts of those around you. And last but not least, may peace permit you to smile in the hardest of times and care when all those you love have forgotten to tell you how important you are.

Here's a small piece of my unorganised thought...

Fighting for Freedom

We are all searching for freedom.
Some seek it from behind the barrel of a gun whilst
others search the tunnels and murky waters of another's heart;
all in the hope of
finding oneself.
Reaching for ourselves in someone else's self doubt and insecurities,
like a displaced orphan searching for love, a hand to hold and call their home,
a heart to inhabit with all the little that he owns.
Opening our naive eager eyes with all the hopes in the world every time
that we encounter someone in possession of a promising soul.

As children we play with hands and feet and hearts and cheeks
but as we grow older the kisses and puzzles are much less familiar-
all at once complicated, frequent, rhythmic, void and colder.
Then one day we finally wake up with an urge to fight
Throw away the toy-like weapons and the tools of seeking love .
Give it all up in order to just be.
Fall in love with our children, our spouses, our friends, our parents,
The Creator.
And giving them nothing for the homes we create in their hearts except
Words from the Soul.

Peace and love,

:)
